After the holiday weekend: what to check first
Long weekends leave vaults with extra open stages. A short morning order prevents a week of fuzzy memory.
Public holidays in Hong Kong stretch hospitality and retail vaults. Extra floats leave; relief staff sign once; someone forgets a pouch in a drawer under the counter.
Tuesday morning order we recommend:
- List every open stage before counting anything
- Collect physical pouches and loose floats onto one table under dual control
- Match pouch IDs to lines; quarantine anything without a line
- Count the main offline wallet last
- Write closing marks or escalate discrepancies the same morning — do not wait for “when it is quieter”
If the page is too messy to finish before service, book a reconciliation visit. An outside witness shortens the argument about what “probably” happened on Sunday night.
